Duce_de_Zoop Posted July 25, 2021 Posted July 25, 2021 Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but: "Residential buildings" is an option for player score, yet I've never seen residential buildings as a target in the game. I have bombed some buildings to practice level/dive bombing, but it never registered on my score or anything. Just curious what these are all about, and I can't find any information online. I don't play online, is this an online-only deal? Or is this set up for a later strategic bomber expansion?
Angry_Kitten Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 very specific buildings can be killed adn give you credit. Have only managed to get kill credit when playing single player Tank Commander game thing...

Ironically enough, not an hour after posting this thread, I took a PWCG mission to bomb rail facilities in Genk, Netherlands, and one of my 1000bs took out a "Town Hall" building that registered as a Residential Building. Not sure why Spaatz wants me nuking Belgian towns, but hey, orders are orders! 2

AEthelraedUnraed Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Objects need to be Linked Entities, and their country set to the applicable value, to be able to register as a kill. This has nothing to do with online/offline, but is something that the mission creator should set within the Mission Editor for all the objects that should be counted as a kill. The Quick Mission / Career generator generally doesn't. 1
