No matter reason. Looking for a guy really want something. But for some important reasons do not buy stuff right now. 

I woke up this morning, with a strange feeling I never had before. 

My wife claimed it was "good mood"

And I had absolutely no reason dial 911.

Well this state is unpleasant and before I go out and hug a neighbour I try to cure this, by gift something

Well, I'm that guy for sure, but I doubt you can help.

I've been having to take a break from flight sims for the last few months since my GPU died and with the current state of the market, it's going to be quite some time until I'm back in the air.

I got only a gtx 980 available.

Maybe my son got something from the 10 series. 

I personally think that bot buying going on should be illegal. I got a 1090 ti in rig I use. 

Upgrading it is just not feasible.

But I can go on a waiting list here in Norway. If you tell me what gpu you want.

Think it is better than my 1090ti

Turns out it is quite a lot 3080 used in Norway. And our currency is shait

But to me it is expensive. 

The one above is 800€

3080 is 1400€ and ti 400 more

My Ryzen 8500x really gave my 1080 some legs...no worries waiting for a 30 series now.

Honest question- I’d like good news. According to the quite reliable German games magazine this absurd prices will probably stay this way at least until early 2023. 

And crypto mining seems to increase rather than decrease.

There is 30 series in stock in Norway. And a lot is sold second hand. Prices for secondhand is "optimistic" so prices here will level out and sink. And more and more getting in stock. Making choosing easier.

Hope that's true. I can do a major system upgrade featuring premium components for less than the scalping price of a middling level RTX 3080.

Agreed. There is no incentive for Nvidia to sell graphics cards for less than the market will bear and as the holidays approach the chance of prices falling seems exceedingly remote.
