Steam question

First of all sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I got IL-2 Sturmovik Stalingrad from steam and I would like to buy Kuban and collector plane from the store here as they are on sale, my question is would these work on steam also or would I have to purchase Stalingrad here again first?

It'll work fine. Just make sure you link your Steam and IL2 accounts.

Yes, it is better for the developers financially if their products are purchased here.

 

Steam takes their cut of any purchase through them.

I honestly only found out about this game through steam, but I will be making all future purchases through here that is for sure.

I started exactly as you are.
Yes it works, but I ended up buying BoS direct through the developers after getting the extra content and disconnected my steam account.
Only my opinion, but I find it better with good support.
I too prefer to see as much of the money get through to the developers.
