Tanks Missing Things - M4A2

I am well aware of the Sherman's stabilizer in other games, but I couldn't find it in IL-2. I first thought that it was a lend lease tank, so it must not have it but it is modeled in game, along with the gunner's control box and stabilizer motor.

Does anyone know if they will be adding it to the game along with some of the many switches and buttons in the driver's console?

Too my knowledge, the M4A2's that were sent to the Soviet Union had there stabilizers removed because of how secret the whole stabilize thing was.

Even if they had the stabilizers, there's only like a 50/50 chance of US crews knowing how to use it, let alone soviet crews.

I hope so, the easier it gets to send the Gerry tanks to some scrapyard, the more fun; i like that Sherman a lot for this job.

When i was a kid in the 50-ies there were quite a few Sherman wrecked remains to be found in playgrounds, even left behind on old battlegrounds as monument.

That would make sense, except that in game the stabilizer, stabilizer adjustment gauges, oil reservoir, and stabilizer motor are all in the tank model. They're even labeled in the station notes!

Valid statement. Need someone to confirm if this was true in real life.

I would be nice if they also considered adding other things that are missing... like smoke grenades. But the stabilizer on the Sherman would be nice if it was in fact included on the leased tanks sent to Russia.
