Set default side for quick missions?

I like to play for "the bad guys", but the missions always default to the allies. Is there a setting somewhere to change that? In the old IL2 you could pick your side easily.

Strange, my experience is that everytime I create a quick mission the plane selection is the last one I selected. Regardless of how long ago it was. Does yours not do this?

Nope, whenever I select a quick mission, it defaults to allies, and I have to change all the planes or tanks to the other side (for both sides). I'll check again.

Happens to me too since the beginning of IL2 GB. Had several reinstallations then. Would be great if last plane, loadout, fuel would would be saved in quick missions or career.

 

Maybe it is a bug.

It will be the last setting if you choose the same map and same spawn.

If you change spawn in map you have to set it up again

I think it resets every update, but within the same patch my QM seems to remember the last selection.

ic, thanks. Tedious to have to change all the vehicles from both sides. Would be a lot better to just let me pick axis or allies from the menu... Add to the backlog?!

Less tedious than DCS for sure ?
