Hi people,

I fly with TrackIR and I use almost flat curves with all axis on, trueview, 15 smoothing but I have an sticky centre. More than sitcky, what it happens is that when my view crosses the centre, I get like sucked in to it which it is quite annoying in a dogfight and it doesn't feel smooth to look around with this.

I have checked YouTube videos from other people and it doesn't happen to them. Also DCS is completely fine.

Do you know what may be happening?

Thanks in advance,

Hey,

I had that too in beginning with GB, not a problem in old IL (1946). In the middle you can add a point where your view ain't move so quickly, so it's easier to aim, but as you notice it could be annoying. I would recommend, that you download Requiem profile and edit that if needed,

you can also see from that, how to edit your profile to GB.

Requiem profile is good, but you may want to edit it to fit for your likeness.

Thanks man! I will try Requiem's profile and see if it doesn't happen but I'm leaning towards an issue with an in-game setting. A while ago I played with the in-game camera settings and dragged some sliders to 0 so I think that could have messed up with TrackIR as well.

My suggestion would be to try creating a flat profile to rule it out and then add more of a curve back in and find a sweet spot.

Thanks for your idea man.

I tried that and that centre sticky zone is still there, I have to try other solutions.

Are you sure that the right profile is activated when you run IL-2?

I don't remember having this kind of issue when I used TracIR.
