Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XIV serial number RM791, coded EB-V, of the No. 41 Squadron RAF. Sqn Ldr Douglas Ian “Benny” Benham, DFC, appointed leader of the 41st Squadron on August 1944, flew this aircraft mainly for ground attack sorties and fighter sweeps late in 1944 before scoring his final 2 air victories against Fw-190Ds on January 23rd, 1945. No. 41 Squadron (F) RAF was stationed in Belgium during the month of December 1944.
