DarkWolf29 Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 In the FMB manual it shows the Normal line having little arrows along it's path like this : But try as I might, I can only get the Normal line to be a plain jane line like this : Does the Normal line no longer have these arrows or is there some other step required to make them show? I know there is a Positions line type that has some arrows but it adds additional text I don't want. DW
AEthelraedUnraed Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 What do you aim to achieve? You may be able to just draw arrows with the lines, or use the Attack line type.
DarkWolf29 Posted July 11, 2021 Author Posted July 11, 2021 I wanted a line with arrows along it's path indicating direction just like the picture for the Normal line in the FMB manual. Like the one in the blue in the first post. I wanted to use it for waypoint paths. I'm not trying to make one of those huge arrows with the Attack line type. I did try adding chevrons along the line with a couple of extra Icon Translators but I thought the Normal line as represented in the FMB manual looked better, I just can't seem to achieve it. Trying to figure out if it is still possible to use that line or if it was removed and is no longer an option. DW
AEthelraedUnraed Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 For waypoints you should use the corresponding line type (Positions 1 I think). If you don't want the "Waypoint X" text, you can set a space as its name and it'll be empty. It'll still show altitude, heading and sometimes speed, but for a waypoint that's desirable IMHO. 1
Jaegermeister Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 I use Positions Type 2 with default settings to get that result 1
DarkWolf29 Posted July 12, 2021 Author Posted July 12, 2021 I was also hoping to be able to change the color of the lines as well, which you can't seem to do with the Positions type. I guess I'll just have to make do. DW
