in game nose art system

Just how does one get to mange to have the in game nose art / decal system work?  I can put my own numbers on, but nothing i do can let me put some nose art on the planes. 

 

Although the system does have some bugs, ie if i pick an english mission to fly, and then choose a german plane, the german plane has english paint on it.

Regarding 1st point, the nose art option is a legacy from the engine AFAIK, so far it doesn't do anything. Although with correct plane and squadron, you will see the squadron's emblem on axis aircraft.

 

Regarding the second, it's non-ironically a nice feature. With markings on, you will see emblem and numerals of the squadron you are flying for, regardless of aircraft.

1 - Nose Art was a unfinished feature, that worked once and only for Tiger Moth of London Flight School squadron:

 

 

But as you see in the picture has issue with Nose Art background, that don't became transparent.

 

In some TF patch this Tiger Moth ability to show (broken) Nose Art was removed for good.

 

But due one these CloD illogical reasons, the option for  select - that don't work, was not removed/hidden from menu > Plane.

2 - In Quick Missions without choose side (nationality) option, you can change planes, eg. replace an Spitfire with an Bf 109, but the skin and marks remain British.

It would have been fun to have some sort of nose art.   One of the great things of Red Baron was the customize feature

i cant have swastikas on the default skins, and now i cant even have hello kitty for nose art.  Whats the world coming to. Never thought it would be like this..
