Mr_Pickles Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Just upgraded to a 5950X - 6900XT and Reverb G2 (Yes, yes... it's amazing). In DCS and MSFS it plays fine. DCS is effing mindblowing now. But with IL2 I have the wrong projection now. It's like a fisheye look so I can't play it. I have tried deleting the startup.cfg but that does not fix it. I've deleted the Oculus software as well. I vaguely remember frantically trying to do things to increase FPS on my old system and possibly changing something that had to do with projection with the Rift S. But I can't find a post about it and I can't find that setting. Is there anything I need to do fix this wrong projection in IL2 when upgrading from Rift S to Reverb G2? Thanks for any help!
dburne Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Have you had a look at the IPD settings +/- in the game?
Drum Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Go into your Windows Settings > Mixed Reality > Headset Display: "Experience Options" to "Best visual quality". 1

So far in IL2 benchmarks it seems that AMD cards aren't doing too well. Do you think you could have some time to do those benchmarks for the sake of science and your fellow man?
