This is Vannøya in Norway. Water island translate to English. But it id not water the name come from. It is from the old language in Norway from the vikings ,they called it guard island, because it protected the smaller Islands from storm.

I just bought a house just on the side of this beach. Me and my wife renovate it. And plan to move here. Bye bye citylife

my dream is to leave the city and make a living in somewhere peaceful and quiet

also less human pops around me

Ironically most of the car,  motorcycle and plane noise comes from people working in the cities, but living outside in search of a quiet life...

Some places have laws requiring hybrid or electric cars to make noise when they are otherwise silent. You can hear it in parking lots when they're moving slowly, kind of an electronic whooshing noise.

True. Police said for some years ago. People driving their kids to kindergarten and schools because they are afraid of their kids in traffic, are the biggest hazard for the kids going to schools and kindergarten
