Hello pilots! Another update for IL-2 Sturmovik: Desert Wings - Tobruk is here! In this update you will find a number of general changes and updates along with few mission and skin changes.

General Changes / Updates

 

Fixed: Multiplayer, Browse Server, List showed installed DLCs of the server as required, not the DLCs actually required by the running mission

 

Fixed: "Recepients", a typo on the Controls Options (category: Chat)

 

Fixed: Russian localization of names on Tobruk map

 

Password dialog on connecting to a protected server more user friendly (Ok/Cancel) and GUI conformed

 

Aircraft's minimum fuel: removed enforcing in Full Mission Builder for AI's and single player's aircrafts

 

Aircraft's minimum fuel: exposed information to mission scripts (see SampleMission-v1.0.8)

Missions: Updated mission Royal Rodeo to use the new Bf-109 F skin 'Yellow rudder and nose, yellow spinner'

A NOTE ON THE MINIMUM FUEL PROPERTY

All aircraft have a minimum fuel property that a player cannot go below
in the loadout settings in game. That means a player cannot spawn with
less than that in a multiplayer game. This property is plane specific.

This restriction does not apply to the fuel amount a mission builder
sets in the Full Mission Builder for any AI flown aircraft (multiplayer
or single player mission or campaign) or the player's plane in a
single player mission or campaign. No fuel setting is touched in
existing missions.

In any multiplayer mission the mission builder can circumnavigate this
restriction via the Rearm/Refuel functionality: It can respect the
individual plan's minimum fuel property or just ignore it.

The SampleMission-v1.0.8 contains example code for this. The
CRearmRefuel-v1.0.3 has a simple switch for it.

A NOTE ON "NORMAL TAKEOFF WEIGHT"

This is a nominal value which can be exceeded. But pilots have to
be extra careful when flying with a load exceeding this value. The
more you exceed this, the easier your aircraft might be damaged at
high g manoeuvres. For example, the Hurricane II manual specifies
when carrying bombs pilots are prohibited from carrying out
acrobatics, long steep dives, rolls, loops, etc.

Hi TFS. 

Got a bug with 5.023. 

When the aircraft crash 8nto the ground it generates black tiles. I have cleared the cache and everything else looks fine.

Out of interest, the aircraft explosions when hitting the ground seem significantly dialled back..... is there any way they can have more debris/dust/ parts/ flame/fire/smoke when the graphics update comes out?
