Reggie_Mental Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 The trainer version had a Shvetsov radial, which was cheaper and more benign to student pilots. The Yak7 was also a recce, liaison transport and light bomber version with a cluster bomb pack in the rear cockpit space. I also believe a high speed air ambulance version was built to carry up to two stretcher cases. Truly one of the first multi role aircraft.
