I hear they have a rich and distinguished football-history...

Sep Blatter thought so.

Well, at least his personal bank balance did....

Penalties,  well, lol.

Man it was everything I dislike about football--tie game won on shootout, with the extra racism tossed in at the end. What's so wrong with tie games?

Yeah, we're in an age where "sports clubs" are just another for-profit corporation, so the idea of playing the actual game has to take second place after making money.

That's one of the reasons why I don't usually watch 22 millionaires chase and kick a ball for 90 minutes or buying any of their turd-merchandise.

That's how I feel about American "Football", and now with their increasingly inane, toxic agenda politics thrown in to ruin it even further.

Now I can't watch it.

This is why we can't have nice things. :mda:

Love it. Precisely my humour. Such hipocracy. I wonder if they will kneel and wear rainbow colours there as well?...

Actually I'm quite curious about it, most if not all can't even change their logo to show "how they really care".

Multinational companies notably failed to update logos for "Pride Month" on their Middle East and Asian pages, where LGBT people face the most oppression - Mexico Daily Post

Millions of people do, though.

A real pity - imagine what we could achieve if those people actually cared that much about important issues...

Spot on bro .... couldn't agree more.

Unless my country loses then the other side are a bunch of cheating wankers who paid off the ref.

Most of them were pretty colourful.

I think their winning strategy was concieved by an ink tank.
