I'm relatively new to the game and was hit by 'Archie' for the first time yesterday on the Flugpark server. Sadly the AA was fired by my own Diggers as I was low over my own base duelling with the AI.

 

I didnt know what happened and why my wings ripped off until I reviewed the flight recording and saw the instant ball of sunshine, followed very shortly thereafter by my wings falling off when the glue melted....
