any recommendation for the Historical Documentary about Kuban and BOBP?

i bought BOBP yesterday and i just bought kuban now 

 

i know some background history about the battle of kursk and the battle of stalingrad 

 

because most of the ww2 documentaries and books talk about those two battles very often

 

but i never heard of the battle at the kuban and also the operation bodenplatte(i watched a lot of docu about Ardenn offensive but none of them mentioined this specific operation)

 

maybe it's because it's specific to aircombat history 

 

as you guys all know it's better to know the background history to enjoy the game more

 

i mainly play the game? as to simulate what i heard from historical docu or what i read from the history books

 

so for me it's essential to know the history about it 

 

any good docu about those two battles?

 

becasue i can't find it ..

 

when i type battle of kuban all i see is IL-2 IL-2 IL-2 IL-2IL-2 IL-2IL-2 IL-2IL-2 IL-2IL-2 IL-2IL-2 IL-2

so as battle of bodenplatte LOL

Danny Parker’s “To win the winter sky” is a nice one on the Ardennes and Bodenplatte from an air combat perspective.  You can get a used copy on Amazon for a couple dollars.
