BOBP 4k skin question !

i just purchased battle of bodenplatte 

i couldn't wait for the sale hahaha

and it was worth every penny i spent so i have no regret 

BTW i noticed some of the default aircraft skin comes with the BOBP has less quality than what comes with BOS 

i heard that devs are starting to implemeting user made 4k skins in to the sim

so my question is do bobp planes comes with 4k skins as default ?

well if not i'm about to search the 4k skin forum and download it 

but i prefer to not to use any mod 

so it would be much appreciate it if you guys can answer me 

 

OH i forgot to ask about this 

whenever i load up me-262 

i get the severe frame drop (10-15fps drop)

and i also noticed that my cpu usage goes up alittle bit more (usually it stays around 10-15% but with me262 it goes up to 30-35%)

is it a normal thing 

in my guess it's because it uses different propulsion thus in game physics handles differenly

All the aircraft in Bodenplatte should have 4k skins afaik. Think there are only a few types, all from the early days of the sim, that still are to be upgraded to 4k.

 

i haven't noticed any fps hit when using the Me-262. The Bodenplatte map though is noticeably heavier on system resources than other maps. Maybe that's the issue  - maybe you flew over a city or something and took an fps hit?

All of the Battle of Bodenplatte aircraft have 4K skins. Make sure that 4K skins is enabled in the settings.

 

I've never noticed a frame rate drop with the 262. Try flying it over a different map and see if its the map that's causing your frame rate hit.

i already did 

mostly i use lapino summer for quick fly

because of the map size it loads faster than other map

so i tested BOS yak

and me-262

weather settings and all the other settings are being matched exactly same 

still there's a frame drop whenever i take out me-262

it's tolerable tho it's not big problem

Can't say about the skins, but I -do- notice an FPS difference in the Me262 vs just about all other planes. I think it's more CPU heavy somehow, but probably more because it's so fast than any particular issue with the plane itself. On my old CPU it used to be quite noticable, on my new cpu it's a very small difference (3-4 fps) although going through a bomber formation at 800 kmh can still result in quite a drop
