Mod Request Brighter ground fires!

I've been playing around with the Night Witches U2VS and when I look out at the black plumes of smoke billowing up from towns etc, I noticed the fire underneath is not really bright.  It's more of a dark orange that doesn't seem to illuminate the surroundings.   Just curious if its possible. To a *very* limited extent, this would be possible but only at the cost of reducing the dynamic range of the fires themselves, making them look less good in daylight. Getting them to illuminate the surroundings is not really possible, at this time.
