Wireless TackIR

I just noticed on Ebay that there are a few new Wireless Track IR devices now available from third party developers.Has anyone tried any & if so can you give a review?

I'm using this track clip right here (UTC Mk.II Pro) in combination with my TIR5 and am very pleased with it.

I had one a while back. Worked just as well as the TrackClip Pro which it replaced, but without the hassle of the lead (which in any case is needed only for power) or the propensity to break.

When I checked the price for the wireless track clip looks like $86.00 (on sale) plus shipping of at least $10.00. My best recollection is that the TiR5 alone sells for $150.00. I'd rather not spend for the wireless clip. Seems like TiR is an obsolete system that should sell for a fraction of the asking price. Since Blitz is the only FS I have that does not provide a VR implementation I would rather just continue with the stock TiR hat clip regardless of its' limitations. If Blitz ever does go VR (and provides VR-compatibility with the Index) I will simply retire my TiR5. Rest in Peace!
