Saitek X 52 Stick problems

My X 52 non Pro stick on the X and Y axis does not work in game.  It works fine with the windows calibration just not in game, buttons will all map.  I had a T Flight stick X connected while I waited for my X 52 to get here.  Also, the throttle works fine.  Tried uninstalling Saitek software and drivers, same results.  Does the same in DCS, no X  Y axis control.    Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks

Finally got it working.  Deleted all drivers USB & HID in device manager.  Restarted and plugged in the stick.  Clicked properties and then the Windows Calibration came up.  The calibration was not coming up before, just the Test tab.  Calibrated, apply.  Started GB works like a charm.  Fired up DCS all good.
