Thank you.

I'm glad to see the earlier released planes still getting some attention.

Have a nice day.

Always liked this winter BF109F2 skin for JG51 Flowbee, well done with the finished product.

But I always wondered , Strelow ,Shot down May 22 1942, the skin that month certainly wouldn't be whitewash.

Anyone know what the skin would have looked like?

Great work as always!

Would you consider doing some more of the Soviet birds? Your I16 is pretty awesome.

I was wondering that as well but didn’t find anything. I really wanted to do a picture of Strelow with his downed fighter and at 20 years old facing such a terrible dilemma as the Russians closed in on him.

The reason I have been doing 109/190 is that my basic templates are really poor and messed up. I keep hoping to get them to a useable level rather than each time having to fix a lot of stuff. It is slowly getting there at which time I will move on. The other reason is that flying Allied planes requires some knowledge of how to operate them while it is just easier to operate the German fighters and jump into the game.

Most of my time is spent doing skins rather than flying now. I just find it more engrossing after flying simulators since the very first flight simulator on the Spectrum 48K. Does anyone even remember that one? Some of my favourite highlights along the way are Wings, Red Baron, Aces of the Pacific, Aces over Europe, F15-Strike Eagle, the Origin series - Wings of Glory, Pacific Fighters, Jane’s World War II Fighters, my favourite of all - Hyperlobby and Il2 Online War, War Thunder and now here we are. What a trip!    …. Once again off on a tangent and rambling ?.

My friend, you are one of the creators of Skins over 109 "HISTORICAL"

that I like the most both the Real combination of the true colors

of the "RLM", and for their wear.

For what I announce that I will make a Diploma for you very soon.

A strong greeting and a lot of health

PS: May your desire to continue doing these magnificent Jobs never wane

Good work, I remember making this plane about 7 years ago for this SIM and War Thunder. I wish I had a pen display at the time. I had to use my mouse only. I think mine is here in the earlier Bf-109F-2 pages.

*if you'd like a more detailed JG51 emblem, let me know. I re-made a really good one from an F-2.

Yep, mine is an F-4 though (emblem fixed)  ---  https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/13720-bf-109-f4-skins/?do=findComment&comment=218089

That has got to be one of the BEST definitive Winter 109s ever made. It even smells historical and realistic. BRAVO !

Yep, flowbee it has been quite trip . . .  I fell in love with MS Combat Flightsim II and III . . . and then of course Il-2 Sturmovik

Time flies by . . . and we are not getting older

I forgot all about MS Combat Flight Sim II. I loved that - it was even better with the add-on Cloud pack. I gave up on CFS 3 though as I think that was when IL2 FB was taking over. I have a vague memory that it worked in 3D with the Elsa revelator glasses which was a game changing moment for me. I remember spending £650 on a really heavy 21" CRT that could display at 120Hz or 60fps per eye just to play that one.

OMG !

I still have the Elsa Revelator glasses (in a drawer). Back then, I didn't know about the TrackIR . . . so without a usable Head tracker it wasn't that much fun  ;-)

Later I swapped the various monitors for a beamer and a TrackIR which was a great combination giving me a picture on the wall in front of me of about 4ft x 6ft which was quite immersive.

I even tried to go into 3D using the red/blue glasses, but after an hour my head started to spin

I remember I paid more for the Elsa than for my Rift, and then for the Pimax 5K+

The progress in this area has indeed been breathtaking.

The weathering of your skins is amazing in VR where the wings are always visible in your periphery

So . . . a BIG thank you flowbee for all your work

greetings   little Guardian
