'The Fated Sky' Spitfire XIV Mission 3 - a single mission by DFLion

Fly with 41 Squadron RAF on a mission to seek out enemy shipping along the Baltic coastline. The German armies were being gradually pushed back towards Berlin by the Allied and Russian armies. Petrol was in short supply for the Germans and rationing was increasing. This situation effected flight operations by the Luftwaffe, though they were still challenging the Allied and Russian air forces and ground forces!

This mission is semi-historic and you can read about the actual mission on page 306 of Johnnie Johnson’s book ‘Wing Leader’. Good luck, watch out for the flak and the ‘Hun in the Sun’.

Played it yestearday.

The first time, I was alone to attack the ship and was shot down.

On the second time, I gave "formation orders" to be sure my wingmen were following me and gave "ground attack patrol", my wingmen circled around the target but I could not see them attack.

Anyway, I survived
