Recently purchased Normandy beta, but no update?

Just about the only difference I've noticed on my desktop was a Great Battles launcher on my desktop so I assume the new purchase had something to do with it maybe? Anyways, it tries to download a massive 32gig update but fails every time. Could anyone please shed any light on this? Was looking forward to flying the C-47 :D

Oh yes I do. I just thought once you bought the Normandy early access you'd have it. Reckon we wait a while longer. Thanks

[1493]YeaItsSkill, with early access you get the content as it is developed, some of the aircraft have started to appear in game but for now have to be used on other maps until the Normandy one is finished and released, a few screenies have been shown of the work in progress, however, the map is normally the last part of the content to be made available.

 

As for the C-47, this is in game as AI, however, the flyable version is still in development and has only just been put up for sale so you will have to wait a while for that but it should be worth the wait.

This happened to me when I bought the Normandy map in the beginning of march ... It s not very clear that the map is NOT available for playing  ! 

 

 

 

Instead of planes clearly indicated not yet available , nothing tell you the map IS NOT DOWNLOADABLE  ! 

 

 

This way of processing such a commerce is not very fair play and I really did not appreciate that ! 

 

 

I encourage you , at IL 2 GB shop , to inform very clearly WHAT IS AVAILABLE immediately when purchase and WHAT IS NOT ! 

 

89.99€ spent for waiting something you ignore when it will be delivered .... just look from when the normandy item as been for sold  in the shop ... this will make some perplex .. 

 

And wondering how invisibles objects might also be included..
