Feathered_IV Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Storch in the medical or communications role would be amazing. Sneaking in and out of pockets of resistance at treetop height, and landing on rough ground at forward command and medical units. Points awarded for lives saved would make for a very welcome change of pace.
PolackInAPlane Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Really doubt Ill ever see it, but the Me-323 would be my first choice for next plane....sigh its good to dream..

Pharoah Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 On a server with a proper 'supply the Stalingrad Pocket' mission, where the German team scores solely based on how many Ju 52s they can sneak past the VVS defenses? You bet I'd fly the Ju 52 in MP! fair enough mate. If its an objective based MP mission like that, then sure. I'm only basing my view on my '1946 playing time flying mainly bombers, however I did fly modded JU52s as well on paradropping missions. On normal online missions, I wouldn't last very long with every enemy fighter lining up to take a shot and usually being killed by some idiot with target fixation (and ramming).
310_cibule Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Vickers Wellington. Arguably the most forgotten bomber of WW2, more produced and flown from beginning to end of WW2 and after into the 1950's than any other type used by the RAF. I had such high hopes for a flyable Whimpy in Clod, but alas left dissapointed. Not sure if Wellingtons were on the lend lease program but it seems logical that they were even if only in small numbers. There was not a single Wimpy sent to Russia via Lend and Lease program (nor other program). Wait for it in COD, quys from Team Fusion work on it. I am its big fan too ;-)
snowsnipersnow_sniper Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) http://jn.passieux.free.fr/html/Pe8.php PE- 8 famous long range russian bomber of WWII. IL-4 or Beriev MBR-2 would be a great choice too. all russian wwii planes and pre-wwii http://jn.passieux.free.fr/html/Avions_mil_anciens.php?Type=RU_ANCIENS Edited August 14, 2014 by snowsnipersnow_sniper
Blooddawn1942 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Not in the context of this scenario, but in generall a proper Me 163b would be really an interesting ride. I just read a book from Me163 pilot Mano Ziegler a second time after 15 years or so. Just unbelievable what perils these men had to face in order to ride these hellbird! Thats the stuff of which heroes are made.
