Silly question: Is there a way to revive an Ace? Maybe editing some files? Just went on a mission where Gunther Rall got too excited and maneuvered himself into the ground trying to dispose of a low and slow P-40 with a banged up engine.

Just feels silly to lose one of Germany's greatest aces to poor AI handling of a perfectly fine plane. I'd be fine with him being shot down, I'd put that blame on me for not being a good wing man, but this? Kind of immersion breaking.

Shut down PWCG if it is running.

Find User\Campaigns\mycampaign\CampaignAces.json

Back up this file in case anything goes wrong.

Find Rall

set his activeStatus to 0 (zero) - it should look like this:

      "activeStatus": 0,

First, you’ll want to find a clear area of about 25.81 square metres.

Next, draw a pentagram with chalk on the floor. Make sure it fits snugly inside a circle with a diameter of 666cm.

Once this is done, place your firstborn child in the centre of the pentagram.

Then, you’ll want to surround the pentagram with fragments of the Red Baron’s Fokker Dr.I, and - oh, wait, you’re talking about PWCG? My bad.

That AI P-40 worked so hard to drag him into the ground and you want to undo it? Poor AI side!

And here I was, taking notes...

There are times when the first born child option doesn't sound like a bad idea.  He's over 20 now, so he might not be as cooperative as one would hope.
