Hello,

After recent Windows 10 cumulative updates (KB5001330 mandatory security patch & KB5003173 security update), my software will either not finish loading or is extremely "glitchy" and unusable once it does.  The system will not allow me to uninstall KB5001330)  Can anyone offer a good fix for this problem?  Thank you

You may want to contact Support with your issue to get into the queue, in case we can't help you out here.

So, standard question: Could you post your full system specs, including driver for your video card?

Other question: Do you get any kind of error messages or anything of the sort? If you go into the Windows Event Viewer, are you seeing any errors listed there? Sometimes they can point out the problem.

Have you done a reinstall? I hesitate to suggest it but sometimes people find it necessary.

Here are my full system specs in addition to showing the NVIDIA GeForce GTX750 Ti and error code 43.  Today I worked with support at NVIDIA without success.  I made sure that all Windows 10 updates are current and that the latest graphics adapter driver is installed.  I'm leaning towards just replacing the adapter.  Can anyone recommend an adapter that would work well for playing IL-2 Great Battles (Battle of Bodenplatte, Flying Circus, etc.) on my older i5-3450 3.10 GHz computer?  It's pretty much all of the gaming that I do at the moment.

By reinstall...do you mean of the game or the graphics adapter?

Thank you

Lol, good luck buying a new graphics card if you decide to go that route.

But if it's the GPU that's failing, maybe try taking it out and putting it back in to ensure that it is seated properly? And I don't know if the 750ti needs power connection from the PSU, if so make sure that is plugged in firmly.

Finally, to see if it is heat killing your card, check the temps while it's under stress. The Windows Task Manager has GPU temperatures built in now by default, so look where they are at while running IL-2 or something like Furmark that stresses it. If heat is the issue, make sure circulation is okay in your case and clean out any dust that has collected.

I see what you were saying about graphics cards being in short supply.  I cleaned out my case and components, removed the card, and reinstalled and now all seems to be working okay.  Thanks for the good advice.
