Altitudes, speeds and waypoints can be edited w/o affecting mission timing?

First of all thanks again to Pat for continuing development of PWCG: the more I use it, the more I discover and appreciate its features.

Recently, I realized that waypoints could be moved (useful to avoid flying beyond enemy lines during cruise to and from target), and I often set cruising speed to historical value. Sometimes I'm tempted to alter cruising altitude as well, when generated figures looks too higher or lower than plane's rated altitude. I think too that the fixed value of 230 km/h for climb may be low for some aircraft and I would fix it according the good old Hardball's Aircraft Viewer for IL-2 1946. Can't understand the same 230 km/h for patrol.

But, when I change one or more of these numbers it looks that more often my flight fails to "bounce" into enemy flight, and I complete my mission uneventful.
