now too much time on my hands i guess, but here is something i thought about, would like your thoughts and opinions,

flying with head tracking but same without, standard zoom setting, sitting pretty close too the front of your plane, i tend to zoom out a bit feels better, but that's personal.

now, if your in the correct position, you shouldn't zoom in to tgt your enemy, as your eyes don't do that, if your getting closer to the sight only the internal view should zoom to the gunsight, not the external, that's like binoculars, so long story short, what is your correct view, or do you not zoom in and tgt from your original default view?

cmon go for it :)

I have FOV set to 110 degrees (120 is max). I use zoom to identify planes but I spot them better with wider FOV. For strafing I use zoom also.

I generally play at a wider FOV while flying and maneuvering and zoom in when trying to ID aircraft or strafing- though this is only when I'm using my monitor.
Nowadays I fly almost exclusively in VR however, and as such I don't adjust zoom at all.

do you feel if possible a mod or something to allow zoom internally only would be more realistic? i mean i do zoom in as well, its just something i wondered about as to what is the proper original view if you get my drift, i will try the wide FOV, is that in the settings
