continuous engine noise far away

ok i can ear at all time a engine running far away and it never go away ,is this a bug ? it seriously annoying

IF you are talking about the panzer IV then its the electrical turret drive engine you are hearing Can turn it off too but its not as easy as the main engine, and myself prefer to have it on as the traverse speed of the turret is so fast with it.^^

yes it was the pz4 , how to turn off that engine ?

impossible to day, no control key... maybe a day

I'm correcting ... the only solution is to get the gunner out of the tank / open the hatch in gunner position ... this cuts the turret electric motor

According to my friend vonalba he found that by pressing T from gunner position, so you lock the gun the electrical engine is turned off after a minute or two. A work around to do it. I can try it out when I get home later.

it's an other solution, but more risky during hunt...

Nope, only recommended when you are in a safe place with good observation, a killzone so the time getting the gun ready isnt life or death situation. Or when one is doing short move, stop and listen, start and move tactic when its more important to hear movement and direction to the enemy.

How about these apples: you can leave the gun in the ready position, just turn off engine and crack the gunners hatch.  In about ten seconds electric motors shut off.  They resume as soon as he gets back into the tank.  Enjoy the silence.

I can confirm, there's a continouis engine noise that goes into the hight pitched.

Heard it from a Pz IV, a Tiger, a Sherman, and a T-34.

 

Direction seems to be random.
