Fill in this survey at AMD to tell them you want FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) for IL-2

A bit of background on what FSR is.

Basically this is a technology that is similar to DLSS but will work on any GPU instead of RTX only.  This will work on AMD, Nvidia, Intel and even your APU (built in GPU) to give massive FPS performance boosts.

So imagine your GTX 1060, or 5700XT getting a 40% - 50% (or higher) performance boost in 2D and VR.  If this sound like a free upgrade then please click the link at the top of the post and tell AMD that Il-2 is your favourite game.  The more that fill this in the more AMD will take notice.

Note:  I have also created this topic in the developer suggestions sub-forum but this is possibly more a general discussion thing for visibility.

I know DLSS already exists but because it is vendor specific so many people would be unable to take advantage.  It was why I always felt it would be a relative failure (and it is).

If FSR has 80% (or more) of the quality but significantly more reach because it is open source, then more owners of IL-2 will benefit.  Why should owners of older but still relevant Nvidia or AMD GPUs be forgotten?

Why do we have to give our details while :

Developers are responsible for implementing the FSR code in their games, and they have full ownership over the final product. Basically, AMD doesn’t need to partner with game developers to get FSR in games.

and

If you want to see FSR in your favorite game, you can request it through the AMD FSR wishlist. AMD may be working with developers to get FSR to them, but it’s still on the developers to implement the feature in their games.

You do know that the link I provided comes from the AMD FSR Wishlist page?  Yes devs are responsible but if we get enough interest then AMD could reach out to 1C and ask them to collaborate.  It might also be something the devs could notice and look at.  Also the reason it asks for your details is to help verify people aren't spamming, a pretty standard thing these days.  If you are afraid to put in your details then fair enough.

Is there a link to get the AMD team to reach out to the Il-2 devs and help resolve the compatibility issues with Radeon chips?

I'm thinking that would have a way better yield than FSR right now. And given the other sims relative performance, once they be resolved it, they should be at least as good, if not better than the Geforce chips are.

Nice idea, I filled out the survey, you can just put in a fake e-mail address, they don't send you anything.
