J2_Trupobaw Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 (edited) It took me some ammo, but the damn thing can be shot off. Edited June 1, 2021 by J2_Trupobaw
BMA_Hellbender Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 (edited) It doesn't take a crazy amount of G for the wings to come off, though. Around 8.5G, give or take. Max static RPM (measured with plane stuck in muddy terrain and full positive elevator) on the Fokker D.VIII is higher than on the Fokker Dr.I, which suggests its higher top speed in level flight is at least partially due to either an RPM limit on the Dr.I's UR.II or a different propeller and not just a reduced drag profile. J2_Trupobaw Posted June 2, 2021 Author Posted June 2, 2021 In RoF it was the only plane with all-wooden wings in game. I suspect we have Lavochkin planes to thank for.

To be MORE correct., or in short, it should be “Little Willie wood”. It may not have the “Heineken effect”, reaching the parts that others can’t, but at least it’s guaranteed to be as ‘ard as nails. If that doesn’t stiffen the resolve of Central plays, I have a large supply of little blue pills that I’ve never needed and I’m happy to parachute in, if they give me a chute in return. Honest !
