Dear friends,

Today we’re releasing another update, 4.602, that brings to you two new aircraft at once. British Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib is the first and it is available in Battle of Normandy Early Access now

................................
The second star of the day is the late Great War German monoplane Fokker D.VIII

................................
Moreover, there are 20 new AI-controlled objects added in this update - they were developed for the Battle of Normandy.

................................
In addition to all that, 4.602 addresses a lot of things - many graphical and audio effects are improved, there are several fixes for aircraft and ground vehicles AI, a significant improvement in ballistics, etc.

................................

Thank you - an unexpected gift! Crash from start of programme once again... ?

EDIT - if you use EVGA performance software, do not use the OSD option. This is what caused my crashes. Now --- back to the air!!!

Awesome!

Can we get clarification on the density changes for weapons?

What would we notice in game?

Probably it won't be noticeable at usual firing distances, it's a thing for heavy guns like Todt battery and naval ones firing far away, they would be severely handicapped without accounting for more sparse air at the height of their firing arcs.

And in hi-altitude combat bullets and shells will loose speed not so fast as usual.

I'm curious to what changed for audio. Any new plane engine noises? Or just for the new vehicles and aircraft? I didn't see anything specific listed in the notes. Well done can't wait to get home and fly! :)

This was early Christmas, can you Devs comment are we gonna have even more of them before/with the final release?

I was expecting the Typhoon closer to the end of June! Can't wait to download the update and take it up for a test drive. My poor P-47 might be gathering dust in the hangar for a while.
