SR603-Flowbee Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 I don’t watch a lot of forum videos but I’m glad I watched this one. Amazing - loved it! Cannot wait to watch it again in my VR headset. Looking forward to more of your work. Thanks. 1
LeLv30_Redwing- Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Nice job. If I may suggest, I personally liked more your free moving camera shots than the fixed camera angles ? 1

This is my first video, so it is very important to hear how I can improve.
Freycinet Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 Hi there, Great job for a first video, I liked it a lot (I did a lot of vids myself ten years ago, four of them can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qMXr5cXoh8&list=PL981CBC682E928D2A). Your camera work is really great. None of the jarring, clumsy "handheld" stuff you see in many sim vids, so kudos for that. I think you should have spiced it up with some fly-by views once in a while, those are great, both zoomed in and (quite a bit) out. Your ultra-wide-angle shots from cameras attached to the plane took me a bit out of the illusion because you only see those kinds of shots from modern "go-pro"-style cameras attached to modern planes. Felt a bit out of place in a WWII vid. Good with the "Florennes" legend. You could perhaps give us a few more to set up the mission ("Ground attack on German position.."). Ending was a bit abrupt. Next vid it would be cool to have the planes taking a bit of damage, to heighten the drama. Super effort, keep at it! 2

Really helpful to read this.
Freycinet Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 Oh, by the way, I also think it is nice to mix music with ambient sounds, the engine, weapons firing, explosions.
