MSFFB Joystick has completely stopped working but only with Great Battles...

I recently did a default in settings to get a few things changed in Tank controls, but after re-setting all the key stroke commands for the joystick , it completely stopped working & I can't figure out why. I've gone over everything twice including input, but still no joy. Have even checked "Local Files" still nada .Can someone give me a clue? Thanks!

I suppose everting is being enabled in-game, you never know after an game update, is it so, then read this who knows something is corrupted.

There appears to be a new conflict between the joystick and the CH pro pedals, because when these are disabled the joystick works again. Working on it...

( BTW: I found out that my old MSFFB cd install is no longer acceptable in Windows 10. I looked around but found no updates or substitutes...its a lucky thing I didn't try to uninstall & reinstall using my old cd disc, because I would have been up a creek without a paddle ...er...joystick!)

Good to see it resolved.

 

As a hint to anyone else who has controller issues. There is a file in ....\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input called devices.txt

 

This lists what controllers are active and in what order they will appear in you controller inputs.

 

It can be manipulated if your controller order is upset by the removal or addition of another usb controller
