JG4_Deciman Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Hi there Strange Issue with the lights. dServer hosted mission (same PC used for playing, too but different account) Landlights (used for illuminating runways) were activated by 'CheckZone' checking for 'same nation as landlight' Searchlights were activated by 'CheckZone' checking for 'other nation' Yesterday I didn't see the searchlights. Other pilots in area reported 'they are active' Today I was able to see them, other pilots, too. Same with landlights. 3 Pilots in area (including me) 1 of them saw the lights, the other 2 didn't. Any idea why a light (land or search) is visible only to some players sometimes? In each test ALL players were really close to the lights (much less than 2 km distance) and at least 1 player reported that he could see them and NEVER the lights could be seen by ALL players. Deci
JG4_Deciman Posted May 24, 2021 Author Posted May 24, 2021 Same strange things happen again and again. 2 Planes landed, all LandLights were active (lights on) Next plane landed and saw not a single light shining, but reported the lights itself were present. Thiggered the 'reset and activation' manually by remote console - despawning searchlights - respawning searchlights - illuminating searchlights and after that the lights were also shining for the final pilot. Just a guess... The visibility of the 'shining light' depends on the daytime detected by the client. Maybe due to some unknown circumstances lights may have the wrong daytime for the client. I'm 100% sure that my client has no modicifations in the daytime config, and even for me the lights were not shining sometimes but I don't see any reason why that happens only to some pilots and not allways for the same pilots. Mission starts at 9:30 pm, so that is night according to the daylight settings Deci
