Refresh rate issue.

HI Guys

I have just setup a Samsung LS34J550 ultra wide 1440p monitor. It has a refresh rate of either 60hz or 75 hz that can be set in Windows or Nvidia CP. I set it to 60hz in both. My other installed games, DCS World, Battlefield 5, Sniper Elite 4 and Call of Duty WW2 run at 60hz without a problem.

However IL-2 is playing up. If I run it without full screen enabled it runs at 60hz with some significant stuttering. most noticeable when dogfighting low using my track ir. This is the strange one, if I run it fullscreen enabled it ignores Nvidia CP and Windows display settings and runs at 75hz without the stuttering.

I tested my other games with and without fullscreen and they run 60hz with vsync  no problems.

I have a solid system running a 5600x and a 2080ti. Neither my CPU or GPU are getting even close to maxed out using IL-2.

Does anyone have any ideas or is this a known bug I am unaware of??? I have tried using the fps limiter set to 60 and that does work but the stuttering is much worse. Seems to be some kind of synchronisation bug to me.

Then why don´t you just run in full screen?
