Well, I can understand that they want to remove the answer so that it remains a secret until the official reveal date, but can someone at least tell me what the message was so that I can have a go at decrypting it myself? Missed the whole damn thread...

wasnt much of a thread, complete waste of time really. for all we know people got excited about perhaps a new paint scheme or something boring like that

To be fair, I don't think a dev would have posted a puzzle thread like that to announce a new skin.

Last two puzzles were BoN and the new bullet decal system... so probably something worth hyping a bit... but also probably not what we're imagining. I know I'm going to be disappointed because I've imagined so many crazy possibilities.

It had nothing to do with the Pacific -- Jason ended up being explicit about that.

 

There were some posters who believed it was related to the Dakota (as it sort of could be unscrambled (but seemed a bit of a stretch to me)..."and more".  So I suppose that was a possibility (with the date just not being ascertained). A few others, like myself, believe it to be related to CLOD (as they are sitting right now on an announcement).

 

....but who knows(???)....

Sorry then, I did not follow at all that "." thing so I was wondering. Anyway 26 May is a good date to unveil this surprise as it will be my birthday present.

I assume the numbers must have something to do with Western Front.

The topic was not on the Russian forum at all.

 

On the other hand, numbers where partially deciphered as 'DAKOTA AND MORE'.

Perhaps the first three digits 112 should be read as: Li-2.

Or 112140 stands for Li-2 ONE FOR ALL.

From what I read before the thread was pulled it was all about the date of a announcement by Jason that should be some time this week.

 

The thread did go in all directions but Jason did actually hint that the number made a date for the pending announcement rather than anything specific

about what exactly it would be about.

 

Then it was pulled, so we watch and wait and just hope it will not be a disappointment after all the fuss.

Indeed, the C-46  and I stand corrected, I meant the C-47 off course.

But you knew that well enough dontcha? 

We'll probably never see the C-46 in game but it would be a nice addition in it's own right, wouldn't it?
