How do I update existing version to new one please

Sorry I have search but not found any help .... I downloaded the new version to main directory and unzipped  

 

Do I now drop this content over the existing ones in the current PWCG folder?

You can unzip and let it overwrite.  It will not overwrite your campaigns or other settings.

 

A cleaner way is to back up the user folder (PWCGBoS\User) somewhere else.  Delete PWCGBoS.  Unzip again.  Restore your user folder.  I noticed that you do not have a User folder so I am guessing this is a new install.

 

One thing that I noticed is that your folder structure is "<your IL2>\PWCGBoS 12.2.2\PWCGBoS".  You do not want the zip file name to be part of the folder structure.  That will cause problems as PWCG uses relative folder offsets to get mission files in place.  It should be just "<your IL2>\PWCGBoS".  I use 7Zip with the "extract here" option to unzip PWCG.  Whatever you choose to use make sure it ends up as  "<your IL2>\PWCGBoS"
