Funny Ban

This most be the most funny ban i ever got
its really ridiculous and not to mention greedy
but yes they should fear IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad

It's no different than forum rule #8 here, so you have only yourself to blame.

its different there is a difference between recommending someone to buy something else then to advertising
and then its the ban time..and punishment in general if i would on purpose advertising a product in here i would get 1day ban
War Thunder forum for recommending/giving a guy advice on how to spend money = 1 week
i would have to break this rule #8 3times in here before reviving similar punishment
but sure i have myself to blame not seeing what war thunder admins for what they are

but could a admin tell if i would be banned or not in here for saying something is better when another user ask?
and what about this user that provoked a statement of advice/advertising would he get banned?

8. You cannot use the forum for advertising other products. Sending advertising materials through personal messages and placing advertising materials in signatures, profiles and avatars except personally agreed to by 1C-777 Limited is prohibited. All such incidents will be deleted without warning. Discussion of other games is only allowed in designated sections of the forum and will be stopped if the discussion becomes an advertising vehicle.

First offense - 1 days ban on entry

in fact i have done so..not BMW but another brand while sales man standing there..nothing happened
recommendation is just that a recommendation its not at all advertising
but it wasn't advertising i was banned for either..it was for advocating
in other word To speak, plead, or argue in favor of. that was why i got banned.. and that's just ridiculous
this forum has no such rule..rule on this forum is for advertising

first of all..they did not ban me for advertising nor did they say i did..if you read the picture you see they said and banned me for Advocating
as i said earlier its no advertising and if i owned a shop customers would be free to recommend each other what ever they want that's a part of business and free speech 
for advocating/ picking side with another brand/ competitor is an opinion..and it was my opinion when asked that Sturmovik was worth the 70$ rather then War Thunder

So if you were a business man and would have a store or online shop or whatever, you would allow advertisement to other shops which offer better products or the same products for a cheaper price? That would be very kind of you indeed.

You call it recommending, they viewed it as advertising.

 

Would you let people come into your business premises and "recommend" your customers use your competitors instead?

Fascinating...on the official War Thunder forums you can freely discuss the benefits of IL-2 BoS and no one of the moderators care. Since the developers don't even read the FRB section, they lose customers by not chaning the game, not by people showing options.

 

Freedom of speech. You can advise people to buy different products, what do you think happens in the real world on a daily basis?

Taken the reason of my ban

it would not be legal to discuss the benefits of BOS vs War Thunder because that would mean that a person would advocate and pick sides

and its clearly stated in my ban that is illegal over at war thunder forum

or was they scared they would not get their 70$...or perhaps they got butt hurt by me stating BOS is way better

steam isn't mcdonalds or a car dealership, it's more like a software shop. if customers starts talking about windows 7, he shouldn't escorted off the premises. that's just going to lose business. but steam can do this with no repercussions because no witnesses.
