It is the 24th July 1940. Fly with Adolf Galland and his JG26 pilots on their first 'big operational' mission over England, escorting Dornier bombers on there way to bomb a Convoy forming up in the river Medway, off the Thames Estuary.

Mission Build Notes: I am resurrecting some my original COD Campaigns and testing various single missions in the latest update, which seems to be working very well. This is Mission 4 of a 30 Mission Historic Campaign which now includes the Bf109F.

Install Notes: 1. In your documents folder, open '1C Soft Club' folder, then open file 'il-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover' folder.

2. Within this folder find the 'Missions folder' and place the downloaded Mission file 'JG26-ver104' which includes 1-4 slides (jpegs).

3. Within the 'il-2 Sturmovik cliffs of Dover' folder, open the the 'Skins' folder and copy your skins into the correct aircraft folders.

I have followed the installation  instructions [ 1C Soft Club folder/IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover/mission folder ] so where do I find the missions so that I can fly ? I have been into both IL-2 and Cliff of Dover but cant find any description pertaining to JG26 ?

How are you 'taffy2jeffmorgan' - hope the following helps?

1. Open up the Game

2. Click on 'Single Player'.

3. Click on 'Single Mission'.

4. Scroll down and find the Mission folder 'JG26_ver104_Mission_04' then click on that Mission folder. The Mission will load.

5. Finally click on 'Fly' - you should be ready to go.

You can put your Messerschmitt on 'autopilot' and watch it taxi, take-off and form-up. This is probably the best way to go until you know which end of the runway you have to head to. After take-off, or when you see your first Spitfire, put your Messerschmitt back to 'Manual fly'.

I eventually found the correct installation path - Documents [ IC soft club/IL-2 Sturm/ cliffs of dover/missions/single
