How to snap back rear view in VR Mode

I upgraded to VR but I am not sure if there is a way to snapback in VR Mode.  I tried the usually setup, saving position with a button on snap back and it does not work while in VR mode, only outside of it.  

 

Am I missing something? Is there way to do this or am I dreaming?

Use this app to get a 180 deg snap view. Easy to set up and works like a charm.
