This “Kate”, tail code EII-307, was flown by F1c Masato Hatakenaka, accompanying him were PO2c Shuichi Ueno and F1c Kingoro Oizumi; December 7th, 1941." I always found this pic fascinating, probably the reasons I flew it a lot in old IL 2 Day of infamy, it should give a feeling of depression. I read and quote what I read, not endorsing as truth.. when these pilots returned they where proud by their achievements, until they learned they attacked a country without declaring war.
