is steam purchased product compatible with the directly purchased one?

i bought the tank crew with BOS in steam quite a while ago

 

and i'm very pleased about the product and the quality it brought with the money i invested 

 

so i'm planning to buy normandy and bodenplatte in the future 

 

and i want to support the dev's by purchasing the product directly from the website

 

but the question is that is it possible to link both product(website purchased version with steam purchased version)?

Yes, you can order on the official site and link your steam account.

You can then launch BOS from steam and enjoy all the content you purchased on steam and the official store.

I had the same question in my mind...preferring to purchase IL-2 goods and services directly in lieu of using steam.  But I seem to have problems linking my accounts so for now I'm stuck giving steam my money and I have no idea how much commission steam takes from 1C / IL-2  ...

It’ll be in the 25-30 percent range. That approximates to around 20 percent of the gross for the devs.

Big figures on Steam have a feel good factor for the devs and obviously introduce a potentially bigger audience to the game but for any business that twenty percent of the gross is a big chunk of profit, investment, R+D lost.
