The idea of hosting it in any country that would require visitors to spend 10 days in a hotel at their own expense for a one day event is just plain nuts! Football is for the world!

Last time i check Paris Saint-Germain won this years Champions League, and Villarreal won Europa League. Not gona bather to even watch so called Super League clubs.

I think their focus is perhaps more on saving lives and preventing the spread of a killer virus, than the potential enjoyment of watching a football match.

 

In this their priorities are correct.

If they were interested in saving lives they wouldn't be holding the event with crowds present... we have an amazing piece of technology that enables people to see things like this in glorious HD colour... it's called a TV, and it doesn't give you a virus that could kill you.
