It seems that now we can also reduce to FieldOfView to reduce the GPU load. And then increase the SS, so you increase definition.

 

Depending on the GPU performance, it could be applicable to some cards and headsets. Now we have the option to tradeoff FOV and SS.

 

But IMHO I would not cut any single degree of FOV of my Index.

Had a quick look at this but it seems to mess with IPD/convergence at initial attempt. Will have a thorough go at it tomorrow if I have time.

Interesting. I need to increase my FOV, because everything is too close and unplayable to me with Rift S. But do I need to Buy Il-2 in Steam to do this? It has to be selected by application, and I don't have Il-2 selectable, even though I've added it into my library as a non-Steam game. Infact I need this adjustment for a few other non-Steam titles as well.
