453=Yarra Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Since the last update, my Thrustmaster Warthog Joystick trigger intermittently stops working in multiplayer. It doesn't matter which plane set I'm flying. Once it stops working it doesn't work again until I take a new aircraft. Once I've started up I then fire my guns to check if it is working and it then works fine for that mission. It has been working fine for the last year or so, and has only commenced doing this, coincidently, after the last update. It works fine in DCS, and I started up the Windows USB Game Controller software which showed that the trigger is working fine. I've deleted and re-assigned it to the gun trigger, but it hasn't fixed the problem. It always registers when I go into the key bind settings. Can you please advise.
SIA_Mal Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 I had trigger problems and it was a conflict. Was pressing another button with too many actions. Ineteresting is that other button had nothing to do with guns but i couldnt shoot after pressing it.
WIS-Redcoat Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 (edited) I am having the exact same issue with the gun trigger. My trigger stops working and nothing will fix it until I change planes. The weird thing is it will key map fine, and I even set the "spacebar" as a third backup and it still won't fire. I feel like its some sort of conflict that cause it to break but I have no idea. Very strange. Edited April 11, 2022 by WIS-Redcoat
jollyjack Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 (edited) i had this situation now twice, starts with a partly working stick, some buttons malfunctioning, and as soon as a wire breaks it's dead. I think because Guillermot uses single coiled flatcable wiring, and the break point is a narrow pass through hole where all the bending movement is located. They sent me new wiring, but not of any better quality. A new wire costs about 15 euros plus shipping, but the DIN connector soldering is all covered with glue. You'll need a new one too. Fixed mine once with just soldering the old wire, but the breaking happened again next to the fixed point. Edited May 29, 2022 by jollyjack
