32:9 Cuts Off Vertical Height

Hello, I have been redirected from the Steam forums to make a post here. In 32:9 with my Samsung G9 monitor I lose verticality in exchange for horizontal view, is that how it's supposed to be? I remember Overwatch doing it on purpose because the developers claimed it was cheating, which whatever... It would be dumb to do it in this game though as I can just go put on my VR, or my HeadIR Tracker. Is this a bug, or is this intentional for some reason? Thanks, and have a wonderful day!
