VilsonFarias Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 (edited) Greetings, Two axis of my Saitek Throttle Quadrant axis work fine from 0-50%, but from 51-100% they read 100%. Yesterday I was trying to assign superchargers, water and oil radiators axis to my Saitek Throttle Quadrant but I get some issues with the way IL-2 reads data from those axis. On Windows calibration panel, the three axis are perfect, they go from 0 to 100% smoothly and without any noise. In game, only the right axis can be successfully assigned. The other two have this "jump effect". For the working axis (the one at the right) it doesn't matter if I assign superchargers, water or oil radiator to that axis, it always read properly and works as expected. But with the center and left axis, it's a different story. They always work fine from 0-50%, but if I move the lever beyond 50% it jumps straight to 100% and stay there while I move the lever from 51 to 100%. I can see this issue in game and also in the axis calibration screen inside the key settings. I've just found this thread from 2018 that suggests we should unselect/select engines in order to fix it (haven't tried the solution though). Do you know if there's a better solution now, after almost 3 years? Edited May 10, 2021 by VilsonFarias
VilsonFarias Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 This issue is caused by bad Quadrant registry info. This guide shows how to fix it: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023194074
