CisTer-dB- Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Hi I am having problem to understand how to set up my Rhino x55 on the setting. ie trims, props toggle zoom view, ect. is it only me? I am under the impression that my face is way too close from the windshield on the aircraft and I can zoom out or don't understand how to set it up, I also like do find a way to take out motion blur. I've spend a great deal of testing by myself and I would appreciate any help before I throw my PC out from the 6 floor
FG28Kodiak Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 To disable motion blur, uncheck: Settings -> Cameras -> Cinematics Do you use TrackIR? If yes Disable it before. Move the Head in Cockpit in the position you like, look in your Configuration which keys you must use. After all OK, press F10 to save this view as default. Then enable TrackIR. I've an X55 also, no problem to assign axes.
Dakpilot Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 motion blur. Go to settings -- Camera-- and uncheck box marked cinematic As for pilot view there are two ways, to move the pilots head the, insert/home/pageup/delete/end/pagedown keys thattake care of that and a straight zoom in and out which you can put on a slider or mouse wheel. F9 toggles different ways that you look around which affect zoom Someone should come along and explain better LoL It can seem quite complicated but no worse than other sims. As this game is progressing towards BETA status I am sure some good beginner guides will start to appear all in an easy to find place Cheers Dakpilot
CisTer-dB- Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Thanks for the reply guys, the cinematic is uncheck but it's still jaggery or fuzzy when I turn my head with track ir if I can say it like that. Sorry for my English. FG28Kodiak I don't have problem for the axis I have problem to have some swicht do what I want them to do. ie trim, zoom in zoom out, prop etc. Can you give me a idea of your mapping please?
FG28Kodiak Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 For Zoom i use the wheel o the left side of the throttle. I ve assign the mouse wheel on it. For Bf109 Adjustable Stabilizer i use the rotary 1 on the throttle, rotary 3 for prop-pitch. For trim i use the H2 POV (Button mode) until axes are available for this. But work in progress maybe i change it in future for better confort

CisTer-dB- Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 FG28Kodiak Thanks I am trying to get the rotary 1 knob (right side on top of the throttle) to work as zoom in, zoom out and the 2 ( bellow) for the prop pitch. But fail bare in mind that I just get that stick and sill don't understand how to programming it. Dakpilot thanks that was the problem
FG28Kodiak Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 This works - assign a directional Axis to the rotary. Then for Rotary 1+ use New Advanced Command, in the dialogbox enable mouse recording. Use the Mouseweel up or down in the "press area" (depens how you will use it). For Rotary 1- use the opposite mousewheel direction. I prefer the mousewheel but you can assign a button also.
CisTer-dB- Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Dude I can't make it to work. I don't know why. I've have it done with War Thunder I've spend 1 hour on that, can we meet on ts?
CisTer-dB- Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 To be more precise with the problem is that I can't get enough zoom and it get stuck in zoom in ;(
FG28Kodiak Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 (edited) Here a little example i made: http://www.mediafire.com/view/hhaekilaq59yc7z/ZoomTest.pr0 It seems the keys only work on the left wheel on the Throttle so you must use the mousewheel on the Rotary. In your settings the mouswheel should assign with zoom: Max zoom out Max Zoom in Edited June 13, 2014 by FG28Kodiak
CisTer-dB- Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 I will like to thanks you very much to take all that time to answer me, I'll let you shoot me down now Yep we're unable to map it on the rotary one. Thanks Now mixture and pitch lol

Warpig Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I actually use the PoV up/down on the stick for my zoom. It works out good for me.
CisTer-dB- Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 I use it as the trim since it make more sense for me
