SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 (edited) Hey guys, Take this with a grain of salt as any leak, and this is just quoting: I read a leak on one of the new HTC HMD. The leak has by now been removed from its place, what I can tell, which kind of makes it a hot one. The second HTC headset with gets announced on May 11th's Vivecon event is the HTC Vive 2.0 It will feature a 120° FOV, new lenses aiming for a large sweetspot and clarity, higher resolution than the Index, runs quicker than 90Hz, all natively in SteamVR - and uses Lighthouse Tracking. No information on the controllers. A rumor is that they have been working with Valve again, which is why Valve was silent. I can already say, that'll be a quite interesting year for VR. If that is true that is very good news for the PC-VR enthusiast market.
